BRIGHTON PHOTOFRINGE 2006
For the Brighton Photo Fringe, Grey Area invited three South East based photographers to come together to produce an exhibition for the idiosyncratic and intimate gallery space. The exhibition contains a selection of work, some prior existing, and other new unseen pieces. The artists re-contextualised their work to respond to the gallery space whilst still exploring the core themes of their practice. This work explores and reacts to the dynamics of the ideological modernist space, the mundane, the ephemeral and the everyday, and the universal relationship we all have with the unconscious.
