Holed Up

Holed Up

Jonathan Swain

Holed Up mirrors the vain attempts by high street banks to plug gaps left in their buidings by the ad hoc removal of redundant ATMs. Jonathan Swain uses current art world trends to highlight evidence of contemporary urban decay and commercial deception. The exhibition is accompanied by a series of discussions and tours of local cash machines.

Exhibition dates & opening times:

Friday 3rd October - Sunday 19th October, Thurs - Sun 1-5pm

4th October 2pm Saturday : Holed Up tour of cash machines around Brighton city centre, initially meeting at Grey Area

11th October 2pm Saturday : Artist Talk, Grey Area

18th October 2pm Saturday : Banking and Photography, discussion forum & group evaluation of the exhibition, Grey Area

In association with the Brighton Photo Fringe 2008, which supports photographers and lens-based artists by organising and marketing a fringe festival in conjunction with Brighton Photo Biennial. There will be over 70 exhibitions and events running in parallel with Brighton Photo Biennial 2008.
