'We went shopping for Epiphanies in Tiffany’s. Got short changed in the spiritual supermarket, we found the lord in the godhead shop whilst puffing on Osama bong laden and witnessed the mushroom crucified while the fungal virgin wept. We watched the parade, the primate primates flanked by troops of baboons the chimp tank commanders hooted the macaques jack booted. We jumped the Holy Ghost train to escape the whingeing penitents and the infirm sinners on zimmers who begged for deliverance. A one idea sedan chaired wonder with six foot powdered wig jostles through the crowd, their dealer proffering their faberged turds on a silver salver whilst assistants fight for the right to wipe their sorry arses. The Handyman of Sorrows appears amongst the ultimate power tools, ejecting the believers from his do it all temple. How dare you be pious, Sundays are DIY days and the not so handymen will inherit the earth. It’s intentions that count not results. We stare at our backsides instead of the one true Godbox. Maurice commands us to obey; he’s talking in tongues about tongues and Jesus is coming down the mountain and Jesus is coming down and Jesus is coming and Jesus is Jesus.'
